Trainee Consultants
£ Excellent + commission (Year 1 OTE £30-£40k+)

We believe that this is vital at the beginning of your career - all our senior managers and team leaders started their careers at junior levels and have since developed their skills, experience and careers with us.

Training starts with a comprehensive introduction into recruitment techniques along with market sector training. Thereafter, often by shadowing an experienced consultant, you will learn the many other skills required to be a successful Consultant, from candidate interviewing through to client development and campaign management, while also receiving additional ongoing training and development through internal and external courses as requested.

At three months, every trainee will benefit from a performance review where skills and progress is reviewed and further training and development tailored to the individual thereafter.

A case in point
Our ongoing training and development programme for Trainee Consultants really works. An example includes one of our Senior Consultants who started as a Trainee in November '06 and was promoted by September '07 to Senior Consultant, which also provided her with a company car, a host of other benefits, a substantial income and a dedicated market sector on which to focus and develop. Her next step will be team and business management leading to promotion to Associate Director.

Salaries and packages
Resources Group expects the best, and pays the best. We provide salaries usually above the market rate for graduate/trainees plus the chance to really increase earnings throughout the year through bonuses and commissions. For a good consultant, a total first year income of £35-£45,000+ is very realistic and achievable.
